tree bark painting

Tree bark painting is an aboriginal art form. Traditionally tree barks are used to make cloth and used as surface for paintings and map-making. The rough and irregular surface makes it quite a challenge to paint on. Today, tree bark painting are keenly sought after by collectors and public arts institutions.

A much sought after tree bark artist, Marcus also provides talks on tree bark painting techniques.
